Sundaresh is an entrepreneur and adviser with 25+ years in people services and healthcare. He founded the search firm Orangei HR and has led hospital projects of 1,000+ beds. He works closely with high-growth startups, building partnerships through a wide network.
Managing Partner & Director
Ashwin is a Chartered Accountant and CPA with experience across finance, compliance, HR and business operations. He leads strategy, governance and execution for the business. Over 10+ years in managed services he helped build Talent Maximus, and he has advised 75+ startups on fundraising and scale-up.
Director – Retail
Retail veteran with over 30 years of experience across retail formats, championing best retail practices. Instrumental in expanding brands like Provogue, Celio and Kaya Skin Clinics across India.
Founder, Strategic Advisor
Balaji is a serial entrepreneur and investment banker with 25+ years of experience. He has helped plan, build and scale businesses in dairy, transportation, manufacturing and IT services, pairing financial judgement with an operator's instincts.
Director, Strategic Advisor
Rajnish is a Chartered Accountant and gold medallist with 30+ years at Citibank, ANZ and HSBC. He was MD and Head of Personal Financial Services at HSBC India, and Regional Head of Distribution for HSBC MENA across 18 countries. He is a Director at Singularity Ventures and co-founder of the fintech platform 1Silverbullet.

Novelworx is led by its Managing Partners and Directors, Sundaresh Gopala and Ashwin Sundar. Sundaresh brings 25+ years in people services and founded the search firm Orangei HR. Ashwin is a Chartered Accountant and CPA. Founder Balaji Bhat and Director Rajnish Bahl serve as strategic advisors to the firm.
Novelworx's legal name is Novelworx Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a private limited company headquartered in Bengaluru, India. Under the Novelworx brand it provides manpower and HR services: permanent recruitment, staffing on its own rolls, payrolling, IT staff augmentation, onsite HR operations, payroll and statutory compliance, and labour law advisory.
Novelworx is headquartered in Bengaluru, with corporate offices in Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai. It also has offices in Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi and Goa. Governance, payroll and compliance are run centrally, while recruitment and onsite HR are delivered on the ground in each client's city.
Novelworx serves 50+ active clients across 10+ industries, including IT services, financial services, media, energy, manufacturing and healthcare. Their payroll, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, attendance and leave are managed through a central HRIS, and clients Novelworx manages have recorded zero statutory penalties.
